Markdale
Cruise Night
Hosted by the
Markdale Chamber of Commerce, this annual classic car
show is held on a Friday evening in June or July. Over
150 classic cars shut down Main Street to participate in
this event. Prizes are awarded and registration is
free!

Stoney
Hollow Lavender Farm Tours
During the end of July, Stoney Hollow opens their gardens to
the public for their Annual Lavender tours. These annual
tours showcases their lavender grown without herbicides or
pesticides, that is harvested, bunched, dried, striped, and
sifted entirely by hand. Come and experience the sweet and
alluring scent of lavender while you partake in the
self-guided tour of the gardens. After your tour refresh
yourself with some Lavender Iced Green Tea or lavender
cookies, meander through the Secret Garden, and pick your
own lavender bunch if you are so inclined. Potted lavender
plants, as well as all of Stoney Hollow’s quality lavender
products are all available for purchase. |
Rotary
Club Street Frolic
Come experience children’s games, games of chance,
appetizing food, live music, and dynamic dancing, when the
Rotary Club of Markdale closes off Main Street for their
Annual Street Frolic tradition. The longstanding tradition
of Street Frolic occurs every July, so be sure not to miss
it! |
Markdale Fall Fair
Stop by for a weekend of fun during the Markdale Fall Fair,
held annually in August, at the King Edward Park and Arena
Complex
Opening ceremonies happen Friday night in the arena. During
that evening, the Fall Fair Ambassador Competition and live
music will take place. Saturday events include the baby
show, chili cook-off, cow, horse and goat shows, a quilt
draw and much, much more for the whole family to enjoy. |
Mountain Top Jamboree
Presented by The Rotary Club of Markdale, the annual
Mountain Top Jamboree supports both local and international
projects. This weekend long event in August, is host to
several live performances, and offers camping facilities to
accommodate more than 200 RV Units. A licensed bar is
offered, and refreshments and food are available for
purchase.

Moonlight Madness & Santa Claus Parade
This weekend long event takes place every November and is
hosted by the Markdale Chamber of Commerce. Santa and his
elves stop off in Markdale, the Friday evening before the
parade, to enjoy moonlight madness; when downtown stores are
open late and offer discounts, giveaways, and a pajama
party! Saturday afternoon has Santa participating in the
annual Santa Clause parade alongside local business and
community group floats. Following the parade, Santa will be
at the library to meet and greet with Children. |
